Ricardo van der Ende

The inaugural Formula Chrysler Euro Series, with the final calendar reduced to seven rounds, was won by Dutchman Ricardo van der Ende (pictured), racing for Vortex Motorsport. The ex-British and Eurocup Formula Ford frontrunner beat Mexico's Roberto Gonzalez and Sven Heidfeld (brother of F1's Nick) to the title.
