F3000 International Masters (2006)
The F3000 International Masters series ran for only one season in 2006. Organised by the MTC Organisation as a WTCC support category, it effectively replaced the 3000 Pro Series. The Lola B02/50 and B99/50 were eligible, but only Charouz Racing entered a pair of the newer cars, success ballast being used to help keep competition close. Initial plans were to use the F3000 K06 chassis for the series - a B99/50 with mechanical and bodywork modifications - but these were ruled out. For 2007 the series was replaced with International Formula Master. |
