Stephane Anelli - Tony

Stephane trained professionally at Laine Theatre Arts. He is very pleased to be returning to Saturday Night Fever having first appeared as Double J in the original German cast after graduating from college. In addition, he understudied and played the role of Tony Manero on numerous occasions, not only in Germany but also in the first UK tour of the show. Since completing the tour Stephane has spent a very successful year working extensively in the commercial dance scene. This began with a UK arena tour followed by a European album promotion for S Club 7. He went on to work on the UK arena tour with the Pop Idol finalists and then with Sophie Ellis Bextor for the worldwide promotion of her album Read My Lips and the single "Murder on the Dancefloor". Additional performances within the music industry include a video promotion for Emma Bunton EMMA Awards with The Lighthouse Family, Record of the Year with Atomic Kitten and The Number 1 Party with Nancy Sinatra. Other commercial credits include Peugeot trade show (dancer/Assistant Choreographer, Birmingham NEC), Wella Hair Show (London), Vodafone Spring Ball (Earls Court, London), General Motors dealer launch (Cannes, France), The Royal Variety Performance, Indent for UK Bright Ideas, and television commercials for DFS, Scrabble (Challenge TV) and Dolce Vita (France). Stephane appeared in the Scandinavian arena tour of Saturday Night Fever playing the role of Double J and understudying Tony Manero before taking lead on this UK tour. Stephane carried on as "Tony" in the UK tour until June 2004

Zoe trained at Laine Theatre Arts. On leaving college she joined the company of Cats on its national tour playing the role of Electra and understudying and playing a handful of roles including Jennyanydots, Demeter and Victoria. She later took over the role of Rumpelteazer. She featured on the tour of The Magical World of the Musicals with Lorna Luft and Dave Willetts and also took part in the 10th anniversary production of Chess in Oslo. Other credits include: Babes in the Wood (Alhambra Theatre, Bradford), The Unpredictable Michael Barrymore (Futurist Theatre, Scarborough) and television appearances on The Gaston and Leo Spectacular (Belgium), Wetten Das Live (Germany), The International Stars in Your Eyes (Holland), Blue Peter (BBC), ITV Telethon, and The Royal Variety Performance. Zoe was asked to recreate the role of Rumpelteazer in the West End production of Cats at the New London Theatre where she also understudied and played the principal role of Grizabella. She played Maggie and understudied Cassie in A Chorus Line on its national tour, then played Marty on the National tour of Grease, understudying and playing the role of Rizzo. Zoe first played Annette in the German production of Saturday Night Fever and subsequently appeared as Stephanie Mangano in the UK tour. Most recently she played the role of Stephanie in a Scandinavian tour of Saturday Night Fever and is delighted to be reprising the role in the UK. Zoe would like to dedicate her performance to Gladys, Nellie and Arthur for their continued love and support.

Darren began dancing at the June Pughe School of Dance in Coventry and went on to graduate from Laine Theatre Arts with his teaching qualifications. Most recently he appeared in the original cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium in the ensemble, understudying the role of Goran. Prior to that he was a member of the original cast of Dorothy Fields Forever at the Jermyn Street Theatre. He also played the role of Curtis Halleybread and understudied the role of Michael Spofford in The Witches of Eastwick (Prince of Wales Theatre) and was a featured artist in the original cast of Fosse (Prince of Wales Theatre) where he got to work with the incredible Gwen Verdon. Other theatre credits include Chicago (Adelphi Theatre), Scotty in Merrily We Roll Along, Rhythms of the Celts (Edinburgh Playhouse) and the QE2 world cruise 2001. He was also assistant choreographer for the NYMT's production of Tin Pan Ali (Edinburgh Festival) and Bugsy Malone (Queen's Theatre). Darren stayed for a month into the extention of the tour. Jane trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. Theatre credits include: the final cast of Starlight Express (Apollo Victoria), understudying and playing the roles of Pearl and Dinah on numerous occasions; Hair the Musical (Oslo Speietram), Les Miserables, understudying and playing the part of Eponine (Palace Theatre, London), Penny in A Slice of Saturday Night (Theatre Royal, Lincoln), Benjamin's Wife/understudy narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; (Labatt's Apollo Theatre, London and UK tour), Columbia in the Rocky Horror Show (UK tour), They're Playing Our Song (international tour), Miranda in Return to the Forbidden Planet (Musical Theatre, Berlin), Baby Louise in Gypsy (national tour), Frances in Bless the Bride (Sadler's Wells, London). Television credits include: Charlene in 2 Point 4 Children, Penny in Tricky Business, Michelle in Grange Hill (all BBC), and a presenter for Splash (ITV). Most recently Jane has been playing the part of Annette on the Scandinavian tour of Saturday Night Fever and is now delighted to be playing the role on the UK tour. Jane carried on as "Annette" in the UK tour until June 2004.

George Clayton was born and raised in South Africa, real name George Coutsoudis. His interest in music led to his completion of a Bachelor of Music in composition at Wits University with distinction. In South Africa his theatre work includes The Doowah Boys, and Elton John, I'm Still Standing. His bridge into singing work came as a complete tangent, and this gives him sufficient reason to giggle about how he makes a living. His studies at Mountview in musical theatre brought him to the attention of Dave and Sarah at Access Ass, the only agents at the showcase who were willing to offer him representation. Thanks again guys! George has recently played King Rat at the Elgiva Theatre in David Roden's Dick Whittington, and prior to that made his West End debut with the musical Fame, where he played Joe Vegas at the Victoria Palace, Cambridge and Aldwych Theatres. He is thrilled to be working again with Adam and co on Saturday Night Fever and looks forward to the bohemian-type year ahead of him. Film work includes about 58 seconds in Bravo 2-0. George's main love lies with songwriting and his proudest ever moment came with the presentation of his original musical Tarioni's Tinkerbox in the Downstairs Theatre in Johannesburg. Born and raised in Halifax, West Yorkshire, Matthew trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, recently graduating with a first class honours degree. He was a member of their graduate company Verve which toured extensively throughout the UK and Germany. Formerly a British Junior Gymnast, Matthew began dancing at the age of 17. He has since appeared in several plays and musicals including Jesus in Godspell, Tobias in Sweeney Todd, Rolf in The Sound of Music and Simon Bliss in Noel Coward's Hay Fever. Television credits include Emmerdale and Heartbeat. Matthew comes to Saturday Night Fever from the West End's Romeo and Juliet where he understudied and performed the roles of Tybalt and Paris. He would like to take this opportunity to thank his family and friends for all their love and support and dedicates his performance to his Gran and Grandpa. Following the tour, Matthew went on to appear in the musical A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum at the National Theatre, London, Aladdin (Old Vic) & the tour of Tomfoolery.

Stephen trained at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. Credits include: soloist for the Royal Masonic Gala at Drury Lane, and the UNICEF Gala at Sadler's Wells, Carousel at the Perth Theatre, Tony in West Side Story at Avondale Theatre, Aladdin at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham and Peter Pan at the Millfield Theatre. His TV and film credits include: gang member in The Bill, and featured in EastEnders for TV and Kevin and Perry Go Large for film. Stephen is delighted to join the cast of Saturday Night Fever. Stephen can now be seen in the UK tour of Kiss Me Kate.

Teddy's Bio

Teddy trained at the Arts Educational School in Tring. Most recently Teddy appeared as Nat Gelder in Babes in Arms at the New Theatre in Cardiff; Ensemble in On Your Toes for the Leicester Haymarket Theatre; solo dancer in Tabaluga and LiIli Theatro Centro Oberhausen, solo dancer in Audentia (Neo-classical Dance Theatre), Sleeping Beauty for the Kenneth More Theatre and Kurt in The Sound of Music (UK tour). Whilst at Arts Ed, Tring, Teddy played the role of Arthur Kipps in Half a Sixpence at the Markova Theatre. TV credits include being featured on the Hear'Say video Lovin You Is Easy.
