Outside Interests

Whilst at university I was involved in the Students’ Union, recently holding the position of Chair of Students’ Council. This required me to have good communication skills, both in person and electronic, specifically requiring me to maintain an up to date website with details of the meetings.

I was also the President of the University Caving Club, which entails co-ordinating the running of the club and holding responsibility for its activities. As one of the more experienced cavers in the club, I also lead caves. This requires me to be patient, encouraging and helpful, as well as confident in my abilities, and to have a keen sense of safety and of responsibility.
