Best Result 2007 As a first year youth, nearly 2 years younger than some of the other competitors, Meadows finished 3rd in the London Michelob Ultra Super Sprint Youth Triathlon, having lead the race during the bike phase. He receives support and backing from Europe’s Largest Triathlon Team TEAM TRI UK and in 2007/8 was awarded a Sports Bursary (Triathlon) from The University of Essex. In September 2008 Meadows was awarded a scholarship to Kelly College an elite sports college in Devon. Meadows is looking forward to improving his results in the individual disciplines of swim, bike run and to competing in Triathlon at national level.  This season Meadows took part in the BTF National Youth Series, and was accepted into the BTF Corus Elite Races.  Now he will spend the winter of 2008 preparing for junior elite competition in 2009. In his spare time Meadows listens to music, watches films and maintains his bicycles.  His musical tastes are diverse however, his current favourite bands are Disturbed, Metallica and Bullet For My Valentine, favourite all time films are The Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption.  Meadows also enjoys theatre, playing the piano and keeping up to date with new technology and scientific Text Box:
